Private John Louis Herbert FALKNER, L/10230, 7th  Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, Flanders France,  4th August 1918, age 31.  

16th January 1887, born Maidstone, Kent, son of Robert James & Sarah Ann Falkner, (nee Godfrey).

9th February 1887, Holy Trinity, Maidstone, Kent, baptism of John Louis Herbert Falkner, son of Robert James & Sarah Ann Falkner.1917, March Quarter, Maidstone Registration District, married Mabel Tilston, of Lake View, Gresford, Wrexham.

Buried at  St Sever Cemetery Extension, Q. IV. J. 4., Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France.
