Captain (temporary Major) Hubert Smithers to be temporary Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 16th September, 1915.

Captain (temporary Lieutenant-Colonel) Hubert Smithers reverts to the temporary rank of Major, with precedence as from 25th April, 1915. Dated 8th October, 1915.

Railway Transport Officer.—(Graded for purposes of pay as a Staff Captain). - Temporary Major H. Smithers, Royal West Kent Regiment, Territorial Force. -  1st March 1916.

Royal West. Kent Regiment - Captain (temporary Major) H. Smithers is seconded for duty as Deputy Director of Railway Transport. 14th June 1916.
