Major Charles Henry Lalanne Cinnamond, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment.

Royal West Kent Regiment. - Major C. H. L. Cinnamond (Royal Irish Rifles) to be acting Lieutenant - Colonel while commanding a Battalion - 24  June 1917, and to command a Battalion and to be temporary Lieutenant - Colonel - 26 September 1917, with seniority 24 June 1917.

Royal Irish Rifles  - Cinnamond Major C H L attached 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

Charles Henry Lalanne Cinnamond was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on 15th November 1899, and served in the South African War, being awarded Queen's South African Medal with two clasps and King's South African Medal with 2 clasps. Promoted Lieutenant 10the March 1902, and Captain 28th June 1908.

He was serving with 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles in India in August 1914. but was suffering from lumbago when the battalion left for France and didn't  join them there until 12th March 1915. He was wounded 6th April 1915.

He commanded  7th Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment 24th June 1917 toll 25th September 1917, and 6th Battalion Royal West Kent from 26th September 1917.

He was Mentioned in Despatches on 28th December 1918.

At the end of the war he served with 2nd Battalion Royal  Irish Rifles in Palestine.
