The Secretary of State for War has received the following despatch addressed to the Chief of the General Staff, India, by Lieut. -General W R Marshall, K.C.B., KCSI., Commanding in Chief, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force: —

General Headquarters, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, 11th November, 1918.

Sir, — With reference to paragraph 29 of my Despatch dated 1st October, 1918, I have the honour to submit herewith a list of names of those Officers, ladies, non-commissioned Officers and men serving, or who have served, under my command, whose distinguished and gallant services and devotion to duty I consider deserving of special mention.

I have the honour to be, Sir, Your obedient Servant,

Sir, With reference to paragraph 39 of my despatch dated 1st February 1919, I have  the honour to submit herewith a list of names of those officers, ladies, warrant officers and non commissioned officers, and men serving, or who have served, under my command, whose distinguished and gallant services and devotion to duty I consider deserving special mention.

Royal West Kent Regiment - Frazer Lieutenant Colonel,  F A., 1/5th Battalion, (Territorial Force).

The King has been graciously pleased to confer the Territorial Decoration upon the under mentioned officers of the Territorial Force, who have been duly recommended for the same under the terms of the Royal Warrant dated 17th August 1918, as modified by the Royal Warrant dated 11th November 1918:

5th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment - Lieutenant Colonel,  Frederick A Frazer, DSO.

London Gazette 19th December 1919.

Territorial Force - Lieutenant Colonel,  Frederick A Fraser, DSO., TD., from 5th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, to be Colonel. 5th August 1918.
