Note: 26th April 2012 - The widow of Sgt. T. E. Pattenden was my Great-Aunt. Her middle name was RHODA, rather than "Rosa". This is an error I have come across several times online and I don't know how it first came about. She was born Florence Rhoda Barton and she was the sister of my Grandmother, Emily Mary Barton. She was named 'Rhoda' after their grandmother, Rhoda Wilby - David Bambridge

NOTE: Soldiers Died in the Great War show firstnames as Thomas Edward; CWGC web site shows them as Thomas Edmund. Soldiers Died in the Great War shows Battalion as 1st/5th;  CWGC web site shows it as 1st/4th.
