Sergeant John G LISTER, G/7648, 8th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly 1251, West Kent Yeomanry), killed in action, Flanders, France, 23rd May 1917, age 37.

Son of Isabel Lister, of Garden Holme, Ingleton, Carnforth, Yorkshire, and of the late John Lister, of Maisey Hampton, Gloucestershire.

Served in Middlesex Yeomanry, South African Campaign.

Enlisted Maidstone, Kent. Resided Herne Hill, London, SE.

Buried at Railway Dugouts Burial Ground, Sp. Mem. C. 25., Belgium.
