His Majesty The KING has been graciously pleased to approve of the award of the Distinguished Conduct Medal to the under mentioned Warrant Officers, Non-commissioned Officers, and Men, for gallantry and distinguished service in the Field:

Sergeant F G DONHOU, 23321, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment.

For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during a raid on the enemy's trenches. He handled his men with great judgment, and carried out his work with conspicuous success. Later, although wounded, he carried on and personally accounted for several of the enemy, including an officer.
