Born Maidstone, Kent, son of Charles William and Margaret Young, of 12, Albany Street, Maidstone, Kent.

23rd January 1910,Saint Francis, Maidstone, Kent, married Mary Ann Underwood, spinster, 60 Boxley Road, Maidstone, Kent.
