Sergeant Arthur Sidney PIPER, 200044, 1st / 5th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died, *28th August 1918.

1876, born Hildenborough, Hent, son of John & Charlotte.

1908 served as a Territorial and employed as a Railway Guard Served in India from March 1917 until January 1919. 8th March 1919, demobolised.

Widow Annie E Piper; Daughter, Nellie S? Piper.

Buried at Sevenoaks (Greatness Park) Cemetery, 624, United Kingdom.

NOTE: not included in Regimental History or Soldiers Died in the Great War; but included on CWGC web site.

*Pension Records state demobilised 8th March 1919 & since died. Sevenoaks WWI with a report dated 5th September 1919 of his funeral.
