2nd July 1876, Speldhurst, Kent, baptism of Arthur George Hoadley, son of William and Emily Hoadley.

1st September 1907, Speldhurst Parish Church, married Ada Maria Crouch, spinster, ?????? Cottages, Headcorn, Kent.

Formerly served in 1st Grenadier Guards, time expired.

Enlisted Maidstone, Kent, age 38 years & 98 days, height 6ft 0½ inch, weight 150lbs, blue eyes, brown hair.  Resided 2 Rectory Cottage, Upton Magna, Shrewsbury / 4 Homestead Villas, Langton Green, Tunbridge Wells, Kent / Cottage Hospital, Gorleston on Sea, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Formerly waggoner.

Home, 12th September 1914 to 29th August 1915; BEF, 30th August 1915 to 26th September 1915.

12th September 1914, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th September 1914, promoted Acting Corporal, ; 16th September 1914, promoted Sergeant; 30th August 1915, posted BEF & embarked.

15th May1916, pension of 19/6 a week awarded to widow and two children.

Commemorated at Loos Memorial, Panel 95 to 97., France.
