Enlisted Newcastle on Tyne, Durham, age 29 years & 9 months, height 5ft 6 inches. Resided 37 Market Place, Barnard Castle, County Durham. 18th February 1915, enlisted & posted 1st Northern General Hospital,  Royal Army Medical Corps, Service No.1523; 18th June 1915, discharged in consequence of re-enlisting in the 29th Royal Fusiliers;

Home 19th June 1915 to 23rd August 1916; BEF 24th August 1916 to 7th October 1916.

19th June 1915, enlisted Newcastle on Tyne, Durham, & posted 29th (Reserve) Battalion Royal Fusiliers, Service No.7926, age 30, height 5ft 6¼ inches;  19th August 1915, posted 28th Royal Fusiliers & appointed Lance Corporal; 24th March 1916, promoted Corporal; 17th June 1916, promoted Sergeant; 24th August 1916, posted BEF & 17th Royal Fusiliers; 25th August 1916, embarked; 25th August 1916, Etaples, 39th Infantry Base Depot, posted to 2nd Battalion; 8th September 1916, transferred to 11th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

27th February 1917, Probate - Anthony Edward Linton Parker, of 37 Market Place, Barnard Castle, County Durham, died 7th October 1916 in France. Administration Durham 27th February to Mary Jane Parker, widow. Effects £108.
