10th December 1915, enlisted; 10th December 1915 to Army Reserve; 7th January 1917, examined, age 26 years & 7 months, height 5ft 7¼, weight 136lbs; 6th February 1917, mobilized & posted 2/5th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th September 1917, Folkestone, embarked; 12th September 1917, Boulogne, disembarked; 12th September 1917, Etaples, 40 Infantry Base Depot; 16th September 1917, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 18th September 1917, joined Battalion, In the Field.
