18th June 1882, born Clerkenwell, London, Middlesex, son of Richard & Mary Patston, of 14, Albion Place, St. John's Lane, Clerkenwell.

3rd March 1902, enlisted London.

6th October 1909, Holborn Registration District, William Patston, married Ada Parlett, of 3, Albion Place, St. John's Lane, Clerkenwell, London.

1911 Census - 5 St James Walk, Clerkenwell, London EC - William Patston, head, age 28, married, carman, bakers & confectioners, worker, born Whitechapel; Ada Patston, wife, age 27, married 1 year, 1 child, still alive, born Islington; William Patston, son, age 5 months, born Clerkenwell.


Children - Ada Patston, born 21st April 1912, 3, Albion Place, Clerkenwell, Middlesex, died 20th March 1914, age 1, 3, Albion Place, Clerkenwell, Middlesex; Edward Patston, born 6th May 1914.

13th September 1914, posted BEF.

Commemorated at Le Touret Memorial,  Panel 30 and 31, France.
