5th April 1904, Christ Church, West Croydon, Surrey, Walter James Pearce, age 21, bachelor, grocers assistant, Northdown, Margate, father William James Pearce, farm labourer. married Lilian Blackmore, age 24, spinster, 26 Stanley Grove, Croydon, father Edwin Blacxkmore, Post Office Pensioner.
Children - Ernest Walter Pearce, born 18th December 1904;
1911 Census - 1 Sowell Street, Farm Cottage, St Peers, Thanet, Kent - Walter James Pearce, age 28, married, cowman of farm, worker, born West Northdown, Margate, Kent; Lilian Pearce, wife, married 7 years, *1 child still alive, born West Croydon.
*slept at 41 Canty (Canterbury?),Road, Margate, Kent.
Children - Walter D V Pearce, born 14th February 1917.
Enlisted Bromley, Kent. Resided Croydon, Surrey/ Church Cottage, Tong, Sittingbourne, Kent.
Buried at Anneux British Cemetery, III. C. 33., France.
