Home 9th October 1911 to 25th March 1913. 9th October 1911, enlisted 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment, Special Reserve, Service No.6514,  at  Watford, Hertfordshire, age 17 years & 7 months, height 5ft 6½ inches, weight 126lbs, blue eyes, dark brown hair. 9th October 1911 to 8th March 1912, Recruit Training; 20th April 1912 to 19th May 1912, Musketry Training; 1912 Training, present; 25th March 1913, left to join Regular Army.


Enlisted Mill Hill, Middlesex, age 19, height 5ft 6¾, weight 135lbs, fresh complexion, blue eyes, dark brown hair. Formerly engineer /machine hand, (Watford Speedometer Works).

14th August 1914, posted BEF; 26th August 1914, posted missing; 9th April 1915, died in Germany, assumed date.

Commemorated at La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, France.
