Born Whitelackington, Somerset, son of Mrs. Emily Isaacs, of Love Lane, Ilminster, Somerset.

Enlisted Ilminster, Somerset, age 19 years & 7 months, height 5ft 6 inches, weight 124lbs. Slight defects not sufficient to cause rejection - flat feet unfit for marching, curvature of the spine; Resided Love Lane, Ilminster, Somerset.  Formerly collar factory hand.

11th December 1915, enlisted; 22nd March 1916, mobilized; 31st May 1917, posted BEF

Commemorated at Pozieres Memorial, Panel 58 and 59., France.
