15th January 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 19th January 1915, posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 30th April 1915, Shoreham, improper remark to an NCO, 7 days confined to Barracks; 30th July 1915, Blackdown Camp, overstaying his pass from 11.00pm until 11.00am 3rd inst whilst on musketry, deprived of 5 days pay, 5 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 5 days pay; 30th August 1915, posted BEF; 26th September 1915, posted missing.
3rd July 1916, pension of 20/6 a week awarded to widow & three children.
