Private William George SHELDRAKE, TF/2134, 1st / 5th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died at Bromley Hospital, 5th December 1914, from the result of an operation while on service.

Born Bromley, Kent. 

1891, December Quarter, Bury St Edmunds, Registration District, married Edith Margaret Baxter.

29th March 1895, The Police Gazette - Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds, (County) - For stealing £8 16s. - WILLIAM GEORGE SHELDRAKE, age 25, height 5ft 4 in. complexion fresh, hair brown, small moustache, eyes (rather full) grey; dress, blue overcoat, dark trousers, black hard hat. A fitter; has been employed at an ironmonger's and as caretaker of the Masonic Club, from which he absconded 20th inst. Warrant issued. Information to Supt. Clarke, Bury St Edmunds.
