Private Victor ROGERS, G/8599, 2nd  Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died, 20th August 1919, age 24.

Born Old Brompton, Kent, son of Edward George and Alice Rogers, of 25, East Street, Gillingham, Kent. 

1911 Census - 24 Middle Street, Old Brompton, Kent - Edward George Rogers, head, age 58, married, Army Pensioner, born St Pauls, Canterbury, Kent; Alice Rogers, wife, age 54, married 35 years, 5 children, all still alive, born Fareham, Hampshire; Frederick William Rogers, son, age 17, single, carpenter, building, worker, born Old Brompton, Kent; Victor Rogers, son, age 15, single, painter, building, worker, born Old Brompton, Kent; Henry Darling, boarder, age 26, married under 1 year, no children, fitter, HM Dockyard, born Jarrow, Durham.

Buried at Fort Pitt Military Cemetery, 1536, Kent. Commemorated on Brompton War Memorial.
