Private Thomas Walter HEHIR, L/9421, 2nd Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died as a Prisoner of War, from sickness, at Reselain, Turkey, with Mesopotamia Expeditionary Force, 3rd November 1917.
Born Colchester, Essex, son of Mrs. Annie Thornton Hehir, of 14, Daisy Road, South Woodford, Essex, and the late Mr. Serjeant Hehir, Royal Munster Fusiliers.
Enlisted Woolwich, Kent.
6th February 1915, posted Asiatic Theatre of War.
Commemorated at Basra Memorial, Panel 29, Iraq.
