16th November 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 16th November 1915, posted 10th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 3rd May 1916, posted BEF; 3rd May 1916, embarked Southampton; 4th May 1916, disembarked Havres; 4th December 1916, awarded 7 days Field Punishment No.2.; 21st February 1917, wounded, shrapnel wound, multiple & crushed.
