Born Keston, Kent, son of William and Eliza Jane Hopgood, of The Lodge, Leweston, Chislehurst, Kent.


1911 Census - The Lodge, Leweston, Chislehurst, Kent - William Hopgood, head, age 54, married, gardener domestic, born Cudham, Kent; Eliza Jane Hopgood, wife, age 56, married 29 years, 2 children, both still alive, born Ireland; Thomas Charles Hopgood, son, age 27, single, gardener domestic, born Keston, Kent.


Enlisted  Bromley, Kent.  Resided The Lodge, Leweston, Chislehurst, Kent. 

1st May 1917, Probate - Thomas Charles Hopgood of The Lodge, Leweston, Chislehurst, Kent. Private R.W.Kent Regiment died 1st July 1916 in France. Administration (with Will) London 1st May to Eliza Jane Hopgood (wife of William Hopgood). Effects £167 14s 4d.

Buried at Tancrez Farm Cemetery, I. H. 31., Belgium.
