Private  Thomas Charles  BROWN  241880, 6th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly 5315, The Buffs), died of wounds, 54 Casualty Clearing Station, Flanders France,  17th March 1918, age 38.

Born Fulham, SW, son of Harry and Mary Brown, of Westminster, London.

4th April 1904, St Andrews, Westminster, married Eveline Martha Hunt, of 258, Whiteacre Road, Hurst, Ashton-under-Lyne.

Children - Thomas Henry Brown, (Hunt), born 10th September 1903, Lambeth; Percival James Brown, born 24th November 1908, Wandsworth; Caroline Mary Brown, born 26th November 1910; Ivy Ada May Brown, born 11th March 1915, Hanover Square.

Enlisted Piccadilly, W, age 35, height 5ft 2 inches.  Resided 26 Peabody Buildings, Orchard Street, Westminster, Middlesex. Formerly labourer.

Home 9th December 1915 to 11th September 1917; BEF 12th September 1917 to 17th March 1918.

9th December 1915, enlisted; 10th December 1915, to Army Reserve; 26th September 1916, mobilized; 26th September 1916, posted 5th Battalion, The Buffs, Service No. 5315; 29th September 1916, transferred 2/5th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.
