Enlisted Chatham, Kent, age 24, height 5ft 11 inches, weight 131lbs.  Resided 11 Smith Street, Strood, Kent. Formerly pipe fitter.

Home 27th September 1915 to 2nd May 1916; BEF 3rd May 1916 to 28th June 1916.

27th September 1915, enlisted & posted Depot,  Royal West Kent Regiment; 6th October 1915, posted 9th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 29th December 1915, posted 10th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 3rd May 1916, posted BEF.

Buried at Gunners Farm Military Cemetery, S.6., Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.
