Private Samuel TAYLOR, 203159, 7th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly Herefordshire Regiment, Service No.3194 / Worcestershire Regiment, Service No.5475),  died 8th August 1918, age 20, at Zerbst, Anhalt, Germany, from accidental injuries received whilst working as a Prisoner of War.

24th June 1899, born Shatford near Bewdley, Worcestershire, son of William Taylor, (woodman), and Edith Taylor, of "The Shrubbery," Brockmanton, Leominster, Herefordshire.

Educated Borkelton, Worcestershire.

Enlisted Hereford, Hereforfdshire.  Resided Hereford, Hereforfdshire. Formerly engine cleaner.

2nd February 1915, enlisted; 14th May 1916, posted BEF;  taken Prisoner after the Battle of Cambrai.

Buried at  Zerbst, Anhalt, Camp Cemetery  / Buried at Berlin South-Western Cemetery, X. D. 9., Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany.
