25th November 1916, enlisted; 26th November 1916 to Army Reserve; 16th February 1917, mobilized; 17th February 1917, posted 97 Training Battalion; 21st June 1917, transferred to 207th Infantry Battalion; 1st December 1917, posted 51st (Grad) Training Battalion, Middlesex Regiment, 34032; 27th December 1917, Sheringham, when on final leave, overstaying his pass from 22.30 until 22.15 29th December, 8 days confined to Barracks, deprived of 6 days pay, forfeits 3 days pay; 29th January 1918, embarked; 29th January 1918, 41st Infantry Base Depot, Etaples; 31st January 1918, transferred to Royal West Kent Regiment & posted 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 5th February 1918, joined Battalion.
