His Majesty The KING has been graciously pleased to approve of the award of the Distinguished Conduct Medal to the under mentioned Warrant Officers, Non-commissioned Officers, and Men, for gallantry and distinguished service in the Field:

Private R A HANSCOMBE, G/4263, 1st Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment. (Beckenham).

For continuous gallant conduct, covering a long period of service in France. This soldier has on every occasion showed exceptional gallantry and a very high sense of duty and has taken part in many actions.
