Born, Dublin, Ireland, son of John P. and Mary McEvoy (nee Bolger), of "Rossblana," 94, Marlboro' Road, Donnybrook, Co. Dublin.
1911 Ireland Census - Roundwood Town, Togher, Wicklow, Ireland - Patrick McEvoy, age 30, male boarder, Roman Catholic, born Dublin, general labourer, can read & write, single.
1911 September Quarter, Yarmouth Registration District, married Lizzie Louise Marwhite.
Stepchild, Eden Marwhite, born 16th June 1907; Children - Christopher McEvoy, born 9th December 1911; John McEvoy, born 27th April 1913.
Enlisted London. Resided Lewisham, SE.
10th September 1915, posted Egypt.
Buried at Bethune Town Cemetery, VI. B. 81., France.
NOTE: Soldiers Died in the Great War shows firstnames as Patrick John; CWGC web site show them as Patrick Jeremiah and initials as P J C.
