Enlisted  Bromley, Kent, age 20 years & 1month, height 5ft 8 inches, weight 138lbs. Resided 100 College Road, Bromley, Kent. Formerly Civil Service Clerk.

Home 8th December 1915 to 30th May 1916; BEF 31st May 1916 to 22nd July 1916.

8th December 1915, enlisted; 9th December 1915, to Army Reserve; 21st January 1916, mobilized; 22nd January 1916, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 31st May 1916, posted BEF & 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 1st June 1916, Infantry Base Depot; 16th June 1916, joined Battalion, "A" Company; 22nd July 1916, posted missing.

9th August 1918, Probate - Kent Philip Ernest of 100 College Road, Bromley, Kent. Private 1st Royal West Kent Regiment, died *22nd July 1918 in France. Administration (with Will), London 9th August to John Philip Lever Kent, joiner. Effects £154 12s 7d.
