Born Staplehurst, Kent, son of Charles & Fanny Hawkins.


1911 Census - Chapel Cottage, Headcorn, Kent - Charles Hawkins, head, age 74, married, farm labourer, farmer, worker, born East Sutton, Kent; Fanny Hawkins, wife, age 52, married 32 years, 7 children, 4 still alive, born Frittenden, Kent; Walter John Hawkins, son, age 31, single, farm labourer, farmer, worker, born Staplehurst, Kent; Loius Charles Hawkins, son, age 26, farm labourer, farmer, worker, born Staplehurst, Kent; Alfred Hawkins, son, age 21, single, farm labourer, farmer, worker, born Staplehurst, Kent.

1912  June Quarter, Hollingbourne Registration District, Charles Hawkins died aged 75.

1913 December Quarter, Hollingbourne Registration District, Fanny Hawkins married Albert York.


Enlisted  Maidstone, Kent.  Resided Marden, Kent.  

Commemorated at Arras Memorial, Bay 7, France.
