Note - at time of 1911 Census - Kate Maria Hulme was apparently an inmate of Greenwich Workhouse, although I cannot find an entry for her.

16th August 1915, enlisted & posted 11th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 11th October 1915, appointed paid Lance Corporal; 2nd January 1916, Woolwich, absent without leave from 7.00am 2nd January 1916 till 11.30pm 3rd January 1916, ordered to revert to the rank of Private, forfeits 2 days pay; 7th February 1916, Witley, absent from Parade without permission, 7 days confined to Barracks; 8th April 1916, Aldershot, absent from 5.00pm until reporting himself 6.30am10th April 1916, deprived of 3 days pay, forfeits 3 days pay; 3rd May 1916, posted BEF; 30th July 1917, granted 10 days leave to UK; 4th November 1917, granted 10 days leave to UK; 13th November 1917, with Battalion to Italy; 3rd March 1918, posted France; 11th July 1918, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 14th July 1918, joined Battalion In the Field.

9th March 1919, date when Separation Allowance of 34/6 will cease.

10th March 1919, pension of 33/9 a week awarded to widow & four children.
