6th December 1913, enlisted 7 posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 28th January 1914, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 13th February 1914, Dublin, gambling in the Barrack Room about 9.30pm, 7 days confined to Barracks; 9th May 1914, Dublin, being 5 minutes late falling in for the 9.45am Recruits Musketry Parade, 3 days confined to Barracks; 20th May 1914, Dublin, having a rusty rifle on CO's Parade, 3 days confined to Barracks; 17th July 1914, Kilbride Camp, firing on the wrong target, 7 days confined to Barracks.

Commemorated at La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre Memorial, Seine-et-Marne, France.
