Lieutenant Weston wrote: " He was a splendid soldier and set a splendid example to others; he showed the utmost coolness in the midst of heavy enemy fire, ad he is greatly missed by us all."

Buried at Godewaersvelde British Cemetery, I. E. 20., France.
