Private John Henry Walter HOMAN, G/19351, 10th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly 30303, Middlesex Regiment), killed in action, Flanders France, death assumed on or after, 23rd March 1918, age 20.

Born Deptford, Kent, son of *John Henry Alexander Homan and #Ethel Cochrane, of The Vale Hotel, Vauvert Road, Guernsey, Channel Islands / 12 St Johns Street, Grange, Guernsey / 8, Chaldon Road, Fulham, London / 28 Eardley Crescent, Earls Court, London SW15.

*22nd February 1900, died of enteric fever, Mooi River, Natal, South Africa, whilst serving with Royal Dublin Fusiliers.

#9th November 1902, married Harold Milton Cochrane.

12th December 1915, enlisted  Woolwich, age 19 years & 11 months, height 5ft 5½ inches, weight 120lbs, absence of top joint of right thumb & stiff first joint left thumb.  Resided 58 Nethdale Road, Plumstead, Kent. Formerly grinder.
