Child - Rose Ellen Hall, born 23rd June 1915, Bingham, Nottinghamshire.

Enlisted Ilkeston, Derbyshire, age 23 years & 1 month, height 5ft 6½ inches, weight 133lbs, slight flat foot.  Resided Edwalton, Nottinghamshire. Formerly cowman & dairyman.

Home 24th June 1916 to 11th October 1917; BEF 12th October 1917 to 26th October 1917.

24th June 1916, deemed to have enlisted; 8th March 1917, medically examined & declared fit for General Service; 3rd April 1917, called up for Service; 4th April 1917, No.3. Depot, Reserve Cavalry Regiment; 5th April 1917, posted to 3rd Reserve Cavalry Regiment, Service No.83218 / 33633; 1st September 1917, transferred to 5th Reserve Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, Service No.G/59146; 12th October 1917, posted BEF & 2nd Battalion Royal Fusiliers; 14th October 1917, Etaples, 40 Infantry Base Depot, transferred to Royal West Kent Regiment & posted 1st Battalion; 16th October 1917, joined Battalion In the Field; 26th October 1917, posted missing.

Buried at Hooge Crater Cemetery, VIII. L. 1., Belgium.
