Born Chelsea, London, SW, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Bass, of 17 Comyn Road, Clapham Junction, London.

Enlisted Battersea, SW. Resided Battersea, SW.

Buried at La Neuville British Cemetery, II.E.55., Corbie, Somme, France.

NOTE : Regimental History & Soldiers Died in the Great War show Service No as G/6453, but CWGC web site show it as 6403.
