Formerly served in 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, Militia, free discharge 23rd December 1907, service 1 year 16 days.
Enlisted New Cross, Kent, age 18 years & 8 months, height 5ft 6¾ inches, weight 114lbs, fresh complexion, hazel eyes, brown hair. Formerly messenger.

On discharge age 16 years & 5 months, height 5ft 3½ inches, fair hair, grey eyes, brown hair.
Buried at Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery, VI. L. 8., Iraq.
