Home 1st November 1915 to 23rd February 1916; BEF 24th February 1916 to 3rd July 1916.
1st November 1915, enlisted; 5th November 1915, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 7th November 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 25th December 1915, Chatham, absent from Tattoo until 9.30pm on 27th, 5 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 5 days pay; 24th February 1916, posted BEF & 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 7th March 1916, joined Battalion in the Field; 18th March 1916, wounded slight, at duty; 3rd July 1916, posted missing.
12th March 1917, pension of 23/- a week awarded to widow and three children.
Commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier & Face 11C, Somme, France.
