Private Harry Werner HULL, 205040, (25172), 2nd/4th  Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment,  (formerly 3644, Middlesex Regiment / Training Reserve, TR/10/48462), killed in action, near Gaza, Syria,  19th April 1917.

April 1889, born Swansea, Wales, son of Henry & Mary (Margaret) Hull.

8th August 1914, St Gabriels Church, Willesden, Middlesex, married Ethel Rose Smith, spinster.

Enlisted Cricklewood, age 26 years & 3 months, height 5ft 9½ inches, weight 131lbs, slight flat feet. Resided 12 Larch? Road, Cricklewood, NW2. Formerly pastry cook.

Home 28th June 1916 to 6th February 1917; EEF 7th February 1917 to 19th April 1917.

28th June 1916, enlisted; 7th February 1917, Southampton, embarked; 7th February 1917, reverts to Private on posting; 28th February 1917, Alexandria, disembarked; 1st April 1917, joined 2/4th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, In the Field;

19th November 1917, pension of 13/9 a week awarded to widow.

Buried at  Gaza War Cemetery, XXX. C. 11., Israel.
