25th July 1919, Statement of Relatives, addressed to No.37706. 2nd Class Stoker, George Swan ONR, HMS Kennett?, c/o The Secretary of the Admiralty, Whitehall, (completed by Mrs Emily Baker, (Aunt), Mile End Green, near Dartford, Kent - Widow, none; Children, none; Father, deceased; Mother, deceased; Brothers - Claris? Swan, age 19, Whih Hill, Longfield; Lesley Swan, age 16, Isle of White, ??????; Alfred Swan, age 13, Shaly Scholl, Croydon; Sisters - none; Grandparents / Nephews Nieces / Uncles Aunts - entries all unreadable.

8th August 1919, letter to Infantry Records from George Swan, c/o Mrs Baker, Mile End Green, near Dartford, Kent - " I received your memorandum. I am writing to let you know that George Swan is the eldest brother of the late Harry Swan the reason I did not out it on the Army Form W5080 as I thought it was not nesesary."

Commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier & Face 11C, France.
