Born Bexhill, Sussex, son of James Stanley & Ellen Mary Muggridge.

12th May 1907, Parish Church, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, married Sarah Standen, spinster.

1911 Census - 3 Ebury Cottages, St Johns, Tunbridge Wells, Kent - Henry Muggridge, head, age 29, married, general labourer, builder, worker, born Bexhill, Sussex; Sarah Muggridge, wife, age 30, married 4 years, 2 children, both still alive, born Tunbridge Wells, Kent; John Muggridge, son, age 3, born Tunbridge Wells, Kent; Doris Muggridge, daughter, age 1, born Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Children - Thomas William Muggridge, born 12th August 1913, Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Enlisted Tonbridge, Kent, age 33 years, height 5ft 3 inches, teeth on lower jaw defective, should get false denture for lower jaw.  Resided 15th North Street, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. 

Home 6th January 1915 to 29th August 1915; BEF 30th August 1915 to 26th September 1915.

6th January 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th January 1915, posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 26th September 1915, wounded & posted missing.

10th July 1916, pension of 20/6 a week awarded to wife (soldier reported missing) & three children, increasing by 2/6 a week from 10th October 1916.

14th October 1916, officially regarded as died on or since 26th September 1915.

1st February 1917, Mrs Sarah Muggridge, 65 Totland Road, Elm Grove, Brighton, Sussex.

Commemorated at Loos Memorial, Panel 95 to 97, France.
