1911 Census - 9 Victory Road, Gloucester, Gloucestershire - Henery Matthews, head, age 42, married, carter, worker, born Matson; Annie Matthews, wife, age 39, married 18 years, 6 children, all still alive, born Matson; Bessie Matthews, daughter, age 16, single, born Matson; Kate Matthews, daughter, age 13, born Gloucester; Henery Matthews, son, age 11, born Gloucester; Gladys Matthews, daughter, age 7, born Gloucester; Billie Matthews, son, age 4, born Gloucester; Lily Matthews, daughter, age 1½ months, born Gloucester.

Enlisted Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. 

20th September 1915, posted BEF.

Buried at Vichte Military Cemetery, II. C. 8., Belgium.
