Born Ulting, Essex,

Enlisted Colchester, Essex, age 19, height 5ft 2 inches, weight 109lbs.  Resided Church Street, Chipping Hill, Witham, Essex . Formerly butcher.

Next of Kin, John Lewin, Hatfield Peverel, Essex.

Home 10th November 1915 to 14th April 1916; BEF 15th April 1916 to 2nd August 1917.

10th November 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 20th November 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 15th April 1916, posted BEF & 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd October 1916, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal; 13th November 1916, appointed Acting Corporal; 12th February 1917, reverts to  paid Lance Corporal; 30th April 1917, reverts to Pte at own request.

War Office could not trace, next of kin, Uncle, John Lewin, Hatfield Peverel, Essex. Henry Everitt never knew what happened to his mother and father and even if they were still alive. He was brought up in  the Turner household and his "intended" Miss Mabel Turner, Church Street, Chipping Hill, Witham, Essex took possession of his effects..

Commemorated at Arras Memorial, Bay 7, Pas de Calais, France.
