 20th March 1916, enlisted & posted 12th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 1st September 1916, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 2nd October 1916, posted BEF; 3rd October 1916, embarked; 3rd April 1916, Northampton, offering violence to his superior officer, District Court Martial, sentenced to 6 months detention; 15th July 1916, released from Detention Barracks Wandsworth, 90 days remission earned; 1st September 1916, Aldershot, late attending parade at 8.40am, absent from parade at 9.45pm. 168 hours detention; 11th September 1916, Aldershot, neglecting to obey an order, 3 days confined to barracks; 17th October 1916, joined 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 8th December 1916, not complying with an order, awarded 28 days Field Punishment No.1.

26th June 1919, War Office memo, personal property etc to be sent to No.1228, Pte Harold Bullock, 2nd Battalion, Royal Guernsey Light Infantry, attached to Dispersal Unit, Guernsey.
