3rd October 1914, enlisted; 5th October 1914, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 24th October 1914, posted 9th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 6th December 1914, Chatham, late falling in for Church Parade, 7 days confined to Barracks; 5th March 1915, Chatham, absent from medicine parade, 3 days confined to Barracks;  9th March 1915, Bobbing, improper conduct on the line of march, 3 days confined to Barracks; 20th March 1915, Chatham, absent from 9.30pm till 6.00pm March 22nd,  3 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 3 days pay; 18th September 1915, posted BEF & 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment;  13th July 1916, wounded & posted missing.
