4th February 1915, enlisted 66 Tredegar Road, Bow, London E, 3/17th County of London Regiment, as Rifleman, Service No.3456, age 18 years & 8 months, height 5ft 6¾ inches; 13th February 1915, deserted; 16th July 1915, fraudulently enlisted into 11th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, Trial dispensed with by order of the General Officer Commanding, 122nd Infantry Brigade as Soldier was re-examined by Medical Officer & informed he would be discharged as medically unfit, so Soldier went home; held to serve on his present attestation, forfeits all previous Service.


Enlisted Lewisham, SE, age 19 years & 11 months, height 5ft 6½ inches, weight 136lbs.  Resided 6 Pier Head Cottage, Millwall Docks, Millwall, E14. Formerly works labourer.

Separation Allowance 5/- a week, Allotment of Pay 2/4 a week, payable to mother.
