Enlisted Tonbridge, Kent, age 32 years 10 months, height 5ft 11 inches, small tattoos back left forearm. Resided Mackerels Plain, Ide Hill, Kent. Formerly gamekeeper.
4th January 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 16th January 1915, posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd May 1915, Shoreham, overstaying his pass from 12.00 midnight until 12.00 midnight on 25th May, deprived of 2 days pay, 4 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 2 days pay; 26th September 1915, posted missing.
12th June 1916, pension of 18/6 a week awarded to widow & two children.
Commemorated at Loos Memorial, Panel 95 to 97., France.
