28th June 1900, enlisted for a period of 7 years; 15th October 1900, posted Shorncliffe; 11th February 1901 to 18th February 1901, Shorncliffe, tonsillitis; 20th February 1901 to 27th February 1901, Shorncliffe, bronchitis catarrh; 30th May 1901 to 11th June 1901, Shorncliffe, bronchitis; 5th July 1901 to 22nd February 1902, South Africa; 23rd March 1903 to 31st March 1903, Combo, contusion of face; 28th May 1905 to 13th June 1905, pneumonia; 22nd October 1905 to 5th November 1905, gonorrhea; 21st June 1907, as Corporal not turning out at Reveille when in command of a Guard, severely reprimanded; 3rd /4th October 1907, Cpl (L/Sgt), absenting himself without leave, punishment - to take rank & precedent in the 2nd R W Kent Regt as if his appointment to the rank of Corporal bore dtae of 22nd October 1908; 8th June 1909, drunkenness, reduced to the ranks; 12th August 1909 to 17th August 1909, Lebong, tonsillitis; 27th October 1909, urinating on the verandah about 12.30am, 8 days confined to Barracks; 27th November 1909, breaking out of Barracks after Tattoo & remaining absent until confined in Guard Detention Room by Cpl Pickens (RFA) & drunk & creating a disturbance in a RFA bungalow, fined 2/6 & 10 days confined to Barracks; 12th December 1909 to 24th December 1909, Lebong, malaria; 18th January 1910 to 22nd January 1910, malaria; 22nd August 1911, Peshawar, India has served 11 years & 47 days, re-engaged for 21 years; 29th September 1911 to 14th October 1911, Peshawar, contusion; 4th July 1914, Multan, striking a comrade & creating a disturbance & threatening to strike L/Cpl Hart, 14 days confined to Barracks, forfeits 1 days pay; 14th September 1914, Multan, being in possession of a rusty bayonet, 5 days confined to Barracks; 28th August 1915, gambling in the Sergeants Mess about 9.00pm, reverted to Private; 15th October 1915, embarked Bombay, S.S.Bandra; 22nd October 1915, disembarked Busra; 8th December 1915, Nasiriyah, admitted to Hospital, NYD fever; 21st December 1915, tonsillitis, discharged from Hospital; 7th February 1916, Nasiriyah, wounded in action.

In pursuance of "The Regimental Debts Act, 1893," notice is hereby given that there is available for distribution amongst the Next of Kin or others entitled the sum of money set opposite to the name of each of the deceased Soldiers named in the lists which are published with this notice in the London Gazette and the " Army List," and are also to be seen at the Regimental Depots throughout the United Kingdom.

Applications from persons supposing themselves entitled as Next of Kin should be addressed by letter to "The Secretary, War Office, Park Buildings, St. James's Park, London, S.W.," and marked outside "Effects."
