13th August 1887, St Anne, Limehouse, baptism of Frederick Thomas Carne, son of Edward Blackler (cook) & Charlotte Carne, 35 Galt Street.

Enlisted Stepney, E, age 28 years & 8 months, height 5ft 11¾ inches, weight 147lbs. Resided 10, Turner's Road, Limehouse, Poplar, London. Formerly clerk.

Home 1st March 1916 to 11th September 1917; BEF 12th September 1917 to 4th October 1917.

Served in 26857, 15th (2nd Reserve Battalion), Middlesex Regiment; 6904, 4/1 Hertfordshire Regiment; 5534, 2nd/5th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

20th December 1917, Probate - Carne Frederick Thomas of 10 Turners Road, Limehouse, Middlesex. Private 5th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, died 4th October 1917 in France on Active Service. Administration (with will) London 20th December to Charlotte Carne (wife of Edward Blackler Carne). Effects £673 7s 8d.

Commemorated at  Tyne Cot Memorial, Panel 106 to 108, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
