Husband of Ann Jane Baxter, (nee Gallagher), married 15th November 1912, Glasgow.

25th January 1911, enlisted & posted 3rd Battalion; 25th March 1911, missing; 1912 & 1913 present: 8th August 1914, mobilized; 10th November to 30th November 1914, awaiting trial; 1st December 1914, Trial by Court Martial, When on Active Service deserting his majesty's service, sentenced to undergo detention for one year, remitted to 9 months; 9th December 1914, to detention; 16th April 1915, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service".
